Individual Counseling: $120 per 50 minute session
Couples Counseling: $120 per 50 minute session / $180 per 80 minute session

Sliding scale fee options are available for financial hardship, feel free to contact Holdaway Counseling for more information.

When to pay and Cancellations

Payment is required at the beginning of each session, and 24 hour notice is requested for cancellation. The full fee will be charged for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance.


Insurance and counseling

Holdaway Counseling is not currently contracted with any insurance companies, however you may request a receipt to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. If you choose this option, full payment is required at the time of our session, and reimbursement would come to you directly from your insurance company.

If you would like to explore this option further, call and ask your insurance company the following questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?

  • Do my benefits cover services provided by a Licensed Professional Counselor?

  • How many sessions are covered and what is the coverage amount? For a session/service code 90837, what amount do you pay?

Did you know?

You may also be able to use a Flex Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for counseling. Check with your insurance provider to see if you can use your account for mental health services.
